Solutions Bridal Fashion Show 2018

Every year, Solutions Bridal showcases their incredible gowns for the Orlando wedding industry and local engaged couples. The Ritz Carlton at Grande Lakes hosted and the stunning gowns of bridal fashion designer, Netta BenShabu were featured in the show. With her background in dance and theater, luxury wedding planner, Lisa Stoner of Lisa Stoner Events, used the Broadway musical Chicago, more specifically the Cell Block Tango number, as her inspiration to bring the stunning design concept to life. The color palette of deep reds and black, as well as the grand entrance/stage of the show created by Ocean Hawks Rentals, were all influenced by this number of the play.

This year’s theme for the show was “inclusivity”, which was envisioned by Lisa and echoed by Solutions Bridal’s owner, Erica Trunk. The theme could be seen throughout the show, from the floral designs to the finale. In years past, the show only had one featured florist. However, with so many talented florists in the area, it can be hard to choose just one. In the spirit of inclusivity, the show featured four extremely talented florists. They were each given the color palette and design concept, then the freedom to create the final design in their section of the ballroom where the show was held. We always love when florists have this opportunity because it gives them a chance to really shine! Another area where inclusivity could be seen as the finale of the show. Lisa and Erica wanted to make sure that all couples were represented with a beautiful display that “Love is Love”.

The evening’s featured bridal designer was Netta BenShabu. We had the pleasure of getting a sneak peek at Netta’s latest collection at this year’s New York Bridal Fashion Week and as always the collection was stunning! There is truly nothing like a Netta BenShabu gown. The attention to detail and use of fabrics, beading, and appliques is unparalleled.

As with anything that Solutions Bridal does, the evening was perfect and captured beautifully by Kathy Thomas Photography and Love and Lustre Weddings.
