How has coronavirus affected your wedding?
We were a week away from our wedding when coronavirus began to hit us hard. We rescheduled from March to October of this year and now are rescheduling again to October of 2021.
What adjustments have you made? How are you or did you celebrate instead?
We haven’t celebrated but plan to elope this fall with a vow renewal in Fall of 2021, hopefully.
What has been the hardest part of dealing with COVID and wedding planning?
Letting all of the vendors know of our plans. It was hard when it originally happened in March as so many couples had begun rescheduling. We are likely going to take most of our vendors with us to a new venue that will allow for more social distancing for a future ceremony and reception. Our current venue is all indoors.
What advice would you give other couples in a similar situation?
Be flexible and stay calm. Now more than ever it is a good idea to get a wedding planner if you are still deciding to have a wedding.
