Black and White Wedding Inspiration at The Capen House

This wedding styled shoot at The Capen House in Winter Park, Florida centered featured a timeless style with a few nontraditional details mixed in. Invitations came in the form of a wax-sealed calligraphy stationery suite, and black and white poppies dotted the floral bouquets. The gray exterior of the house provided a beautiful backdrop for an elegant tablescape ready for guests. Gold rimmed dishes and macarons sat at each place setting, and names written in calligraphy on black ribbons marked every guest’s seat. A polished back and white cake showed off clean lines and a streak of candied sugar through the middle. The cookies look glamorous, too, with intricate monograms!

The model bride even fit the black and white color scheme with a black skirt, white lace top, and a black hat. She and her real-life partner explored the grounds, posing for portraits in a few of the best spots the Capen House has to offer!
