What inspired you to get into photography?
My grandmother's love of family history made an early impression of the importance of photography. Looking back at family members, styles, locations, and emotions from years gone by were always fascinating to me. I wanted to document the world around me and capture memories. However, I didn't really pursue professional photography until many years as an accountant. I have found my calling and passion. It brings me joy to document couples and their most important moments.
What do love most about working with couples?
Weddings are the best! Every wedding has it's own special mix of love, life, history, friends and families! I love the unpredictably of the day. The couple's story, the weather, the flower girl, the guests, the cutting of the cake or a thousand other little things that makes each day unique. Even with all the excitement of the day, I love consistently delivering beautiful and solid images!
What would you say your style is?
There are several words that have been used about my style. Romantic, timeless and artistic have been used, and I agree with all of those. However, I feel that my style is real. I don't edit and change your day to fit my style. When you look at your images, you will remember your day and the moments as they happened. In 10, 20, 50 years, my images will still portray you, your emotions, and your day.
What types of packages do you offer?
Wedding collections start at six hours of coverage and go up to ten. Custom collections are available. Every collection always includes high-resolution, professionally edited digital images of your day. They are presented on a private online gallery and can be shared with your friends and family. You also receive a print release for personal use of all of your images.
How far do you travel?
I love adventure and will travel for to it! Most of my weddings are throughout the State of Florida, with my home base in Orlando. I have also had the pleasure of photographing weddings in California, Colorado, and Alabama, and I would love to add states and countries to that list! 🙂
What wedding planning advice would you give couples?
My advice is to couples getting married is to focus on your relationship. What tells your story? What describes your journey? Don't worry a 150 year old tradition that doesn't apply to you.Hire professionals and let your friends and families enjoy the day as your guests. So much planning, time and effort goes into that first day of your married life, so do what honors you both that day, and the years to come.
