French Quarter Romance Wedding Inspiration Shoot
This past June, Orange Blossom Bride organized a trip for Greater Orlando wedding pros to collaborate on a wedding inspiration shoot with an amazing vendor team in the one and only New Orleans, LA. The final product was beautiful but it also allowed vendors from different areas to learn from each other and find inspiration from a different locale!
New Orleans has such unique, well, everything! But we especially love the history and architecture that can be found throughout the city. When we started planning for this shoot, we wanted a location that had details that were different than what you could find here in Central Florida. We fell in love with the courtyard space at the Chateau LeMoyne, which is located in the heart of French Quarter, as well as the other details throughout the hotel.
After the location was found, the planning began. Inspired by the colors of Mardi Gras, Central Florida planner, Jackie of Sincerely Yours Weddings and Design wanted to create an elegant shoot playing off the locations unique details. We contacted Randi of Poppy Lane Events, an amazing wedding planner in the New Orleans area, to help bring the design together and connect us with other local wedding pros. Katie and Audra from Distressed Rentals and Revivals helped select pieces from their inventory that would compliment the color palette and architect of the courtyard.
Tina of Verde Beauty created a beautiful updo and selected the stunning gown from Blush Formal and Bridal that our model Aristea looked absolutely gorgeous in. She also helped with contacting our groom model, Steven. Steven wore a blue suit which complimented the nude underlay of the bridal gown perfectly. Coming form the Greater Orlando area, Sharon and Cyndol of Cake and Bake designed an elegant gold and white cake with each layer boasting a different detail. Different textures were used throughout the shoot, from the specialty invitation suite by InvitoBella to the velvet linens from Nuage Designs. Leaf + Petal pulled in different hues of purple along with greenery to add to the florals used throughout the shoot.
