Southern Elopement Inspiration Shoot at the Wither-Maguire House

The Withers-Maguire House in Ocoee, Florida is so charming, I had to come up with a theme to fit it. After a brainstorming session, “A Southern Elopement” was born. The idea behind it all was to take two different states on complete opposite ends of our country, in this case, Washington and Massachusetts, and blend them together to come up with the look for our Florida-based elopement. During my meeting with Cheryl’s Distinctive Creations, we tossed around ideas of evergreen, birchwood, driftwood, sand, shells, aqua, coral, and neutral colors. I wanted something that meshed the beautiful evergreen forests of Washington with the sandy beaches of Cape Cod. After that meeting, the look of our shoot was born.
