There is so much to say about this Crystal Ballroom at Sunset Harbor wedding in Daytona Beach! The decor, her dress, and the setting are all dreamy and ethereal. Lola and Bryan opted to tie the knot outside in front of the water with an indoor reception. The natural lighting in the reception room made everything look so beautiful and airy. It created the perfect ambiance for dinner, followed by dancing of course!
The day was filled with touching moments. Liz Cowie Photography says, “The reception started with Lola and Bryan dancing to She’s Got a Way by Billy Joel… As they swayed to the music I could see Lola just taking it in, looking out to the guests and realizing that so many people came together to celebrate with them. There may or may not have been tears! I love seeing moments love in unexpected situations. It just makes my heart happy.”
The photographer added, “During portrait time I had Lola and Bryan snuggling close together. I was trying to wrangle her veil in a less than forgiving windy situation. I am right up in their faces, camera in hand and veil over all of us! Not exactly the setting for an intimate moment. It was then I overhead Bryan whispering to his beautiful bride….’we’re married.’ Such simple words but said with so much emotion during a less than romantic moment.”
The sunshine shone beautifully as Bryan and Lola strolled down the dock during their portraits. They ended the night surrounded by their friend and family dancing in a sea of bubbles.
