Lake Mary Event Center has so much to offer – floor-to-ceiling windows stretch out around the ceremony space, while a lake and a terrace make for perfect portraits out back. Jenna and Erik’s wedding day featured dusty rose and golds with navy blue accents. Roses and hydrangeas added romance to the atmosphere throughout the day as the two of them laughed with their bridal party and snuggled for photos.
Floral centerpieces and navy linens decorated the reception tables that filled Lake Mary Event Center’s ballroom, which gave the space the timeless elegance feel that the couple was going for. After guests signed the newlyweds’ puzzle piece guest book, they settled in for a night of dinner and dancing! For dessert, Jenna and Erik cut a blue and white cake designed with lacy icing and quilted fondant. For more of their pretty details, check out all the moments captured below!
Advice from Bride, Jenna:
What advice would you give other couples about the wedding planning process?
Take your time. Pick the top five things that you want to spend your money on and then make compromises on the rest if you’re planning on a budget. When making decisions about what you want to have as decor or featured in the wedding and reception make sure to ask yourself “is this something that I will remember or my guest will remember the day after or 6 months later?” If the answer is no, then leave it out.
Is there any advice that you would give engaged couples about married life?
Be sure to continue to ” date each other”. My husband and I have date night every Friday night and we look forward to it every week! It’s just a time where we dedicate to each other and put our cell phones away to talk about our week and our upcoming weekend.
