Nichole and Ricardo’s wedding was full of traditional elegance with a bit of modern fun. Their wedding celebration began with a Catholic ceremony at Holy Family Catholic Church, then continued with a fun reception at Rosen Shingle Creek.
Guests set at round guest tables with clear candelabras as the centerpieces and silver charivari chairs. Pops of pink were found in the elegant florals and purple uplighting set the atmosphere of the room.
The couple was not able to physically include their beloved fur baby into their wedding day so they got creative. Nichole and Ricardo took a photo of their pup in a tuxedo from their engagement session and created a cardboard cut out for guests to use as a fun photo booth prop! They also included him in their cake topper.
With a magical cloud of smoke for their first dance and pleneros providing live music, Nichole and Ricardo were able to share their marriage with their closest family and friends with a celebration they won’t soon forget.
How did he propose?
From Bride, Nichole:
I thought we were just going to St. Petersburg for the weekend to relax. Turns out when we got there Ricardo had set everything up so that he could propose at sunset on the balcony of the hotel room, overlooking the ocean. I was very surprised and excited, the whole situation seemed surreal.
What advice would give couples going through the wedding planning process?
From Bride, Nichole:
Set aside a lot of time for the process, that way you can do small tasks and won’t feel as pressured. We also suggest getting a wedding coordinator. The most important decision for us was choosing a photographer (in the end, that’s all you have left) to capture all the moments and Michael was the best, hands down.
