Rust and Navy Boho Wedding at The Garden Villa

Central Florida in the winter can provide some beautiful days for outdoor weddings. This was the case for Cheyenne and Ronnie’s Boho-inspired wedding. The weather was perfect for their celebration at The Garden Villa in Winter Park, FL.

The couple’s wedding design was a boho dream with tons of pampas grass and dried floral arrangements. Cheyenne always loved the color rust and paired it with navy blue to create a warm wedding color palette. When ask the best part of their wedding, bride Cheyenne describes, “Besides finally marrying my best friend? Probably just seeing everything come together as I hoped and getting to relax and enjoy the night with our closest friends and family. I truly felt like it was the best night of my life.”

From Bride, Cheyenne:

How did you two meet and/or what was your proposal story?

“My husband and I met on a random Sunday evening at a local bar called Orleans. Fun fact: The night lead to us going to a strip club so it’s always fun when we meet new people and say we met there instead and get the craziest looks.

Two years before our wedding, we had a trip planned to Nashville with a couple of our friends. A week before our trip, I found out I was pregnant with our daughter, and little did I know, that Ronnie was planning on proposing this trip. They planned to go on a hike because it’s something I’ve always loved doing, which ended up being at Radnor Lake State Park. After walking around and around and my best friend keep suggesting great picture spots, my now husband proposed. Looking back now, I should have caught on.. lol but I didn’t and it was the best surprise and was so beautiful.”

From Bride, Cheyenne:

Is there anything that you wish you would have done differently or had that you didn’t for your wedding?

“Maybe not done so much DIY. Although it was very rewarding, there was a lot of preparation and figuring out who was doing what for the day of the wedding.”

What advice would you give other couples about the wedding planning process?

“Try not to stress so much. If something goes wrong, odds are that your guests have no idea so just let it go and keep it moving. Your night will still be perfect!”
