Rustic Historic Dubsdread Wedding

Samantha and Brandon chose a rustic theme for their Historic Dubsdread wedding. They wanted to achieve that warm, welcoming atmosphere for their wedding and the rustic theme fit perfectly. To get the desired look they embedded lots of greenery throughout the venue, accenting it with a mauve and gold color palette. The girls wore mauve dresses and the guys wore gray with a champagne gold tie.

The couple’s first look was a very special and memorable moment for them. Samantha loved being able to have time to see Brandon before the ceremony. She also loved that they were able to take beautiful portraits prior to the ceremony. She said “There was so much excitement leading up to the ceremony, allowing us to feel relaxed and have fun together before the big moment. Seeing each other for the first time, just him and I, was really special.”

From Bride, Samantha:

Is there anything you wish you had done differently for your wedding?

We had a rainy day for our wedding and the ceremony had to be moved inside. I wish I didn’t let that get to me as much right before the ceremony because it ended up being stunning anyway! Dubsdread knows what they are doing. It was definitely for the best because not only was there rain, but there was a helicopter circling that would have made so much noise during the ceremony. Everything definitely happens for a reason!

From Bride, Samantha:

Is there any advice you would give engaged couples about married life?

It’s the best feeling. Enjoy being a newlywed. Enjoy your honeymoon. Milk everything for as long as you can!
