Classic Blush and Navy Wedding at Casa Feliz

Choosing a venue was an easy task for Jessica and Jeffrey, as Casa Feliz in Winter Park, Florida was their dream venue and they always knew they would get married in Winter Park. They fell in love with the romantic feel of the Winter Park venue and chose decor that would accent its beauty. They opted for simple flowers and incorporated greenery to stay in line with the aesthetics of the venue.

Jessica wore a Hayley Paige “Pepper” dress and a veil that was borrowed from her “little” in her sorority. She also added a simple pair of nude heels and a pair of Kate Spade “Mrs” earrings. To finish off her bridal look Jessica wore her engagement ring and a ring her parents gifted her on her 16th birthday. She has actually worn the ring ever since the day she received it. Jeffrey wore a blue suit, white dress shirt, and a floral patterned, blue and silver tie. He finished off his look with all brown accessories and shoes.

A couple of fun facts about Jessica and Jeffrey’s wedding is that they chose personalized koozies for their wedding favors. This made perfect sense because the couple collects them! They also opted out of having a wedding cake and decided on donuts instead.

From Bride, Jessica:
How did you both meet?
We met in the middle school youth group at our church. In the summer before high school, our best friends started dating which meant that we were spending a lot more time together. After a little while of hanging out, we realized that we both liked one another and during our first few months of the 9th grade became boyfriend and girlfriend before the first period in front of our lockers when Jeff nervously asked me to be his girlfriend before running away to homeroom! 12 years later and here we are!

From Bride, Jessica:

What were your favorite parts of the day?

Our favorite parts of the day were, of course, seeing each other for the first time as I was walking down the aisle. I have seen this man smile a lot in our years together but I will never forget the joy on his face and the joy I felt walking down the aisle. We had a blast once all of the formalities were out of the way and we could enjoy dancing the night away with all of our favorite people. There is no better feeling than knowing and loving every person in the room. There are so few occasions where you can see everyone you love in one place and it was amazing to experience.

Do you have any advice for couples planning their weddings now?

Try and enjoy it. It is so stressful and it can take away the joy you should be experiencing in those months leading up. Don’t let anyone make you change any part of your vision. Don’t let people tell you what you should and shouldn’t do. It’s your day. Make it yours!
