Elegant Lavender and White Wedding at The Royal Crest Room

Jhaveen and Sloane’s wedding at The Royal Crest Room in Saint Cloud, Florida was lacy and sunny with plenty of succulents to go around. On her wedding day, Sloane wore a stunning fitted gown with sleeves that draped off her shoulders while her bridesmaids matched in pale purple dresses. Each lovely lady carried a big floral bouquet, but Sloane’s was particularly lush with a cascade of white flowers and greenery. After their outdoor ceremony, Jhaveen and Sloane took to the golf course for photos, canoodling under Sloane’s chapel-length veil.

The reception was bright and colorful, with blue, gray, and mauve linens. Succulents and baby’s breath filled geometric terrariums on each table and decorated a classic white wedding cake. After the newlyweds shared their first dance, guests lifted the happy couple in the air for the horah dance! Check out the photos below for more of the day that Jhaveen and Sloane will never forget!

Tell us about your wedding vision.
I wanted an outdoor ceremony for sure, so when I found The Royal Crest Room I was so excited about seeing the beautiful outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour areas. I love boho styles as well as neutral colors and I did a lot of research online with the help of my awesome family we created something that was perfect for what we wanted.

From Bride, Sloane:

How did you meet? Tell us your proposal story.
We met in high school Spanish class. Jhaveen was transferred into my class after it had already started. The teacher rearranged seats and sat us next to each other and the sparks flew. It was around Christmas time and he said we should go look at the Christmas lights at Lake Eola (my favorite) and then get dinner. We went to the big Christmas tree and he told me to stand in front of it so he can take my picture and then he asked! After the proposal, we walked over to where we were going to have dinner and all of our family and friends were there waiting for us with champagne, cake, and balloons.

From Bride, Sloane:

What were your favorite parts of the day?
The whole day was perfect! My favorite part of the day was everyone being together and enjoying themselves. Something funny that happened was the night before we could not find the marriage license anywhere. I was at the hotel with my bridesmaids and he was at home with my brother we both were looking and it was nowhere to be found. Then my awesome bridesmaids found it in my jewelry bag which was my “safe spot” for it lol!

From Bride, Sloane:

Do you have any advice for couples planning their weddings now?

As hard as it is don’t stress and enjoy every minute of it. A wedding is one day and it will all work out but what’s important is the fact you’re marrying your best friend!
