Multicultural Wedding at the Swan and Dolphin Resort - Yina and Darryl
Disney’s Swan and Dolphin Resort was the perfect backdrop for this multicultural wedding which was full of beautiful traditions and details. The groom, Darryl, built incredible Chinese doors that were used as a backdrop for both the ceremony and reception. The couple included some Chinese wedding traditions in their American ceremony as well. One of these traditions was the wedding tea ceremony, which is when the groom pours tea for the bride to give to his parents as a formal introduction and sign of respect then the groom does the same for the bride’s parents. At the end of the night, Yina and Darryl changed into traditional Chinese wedding attire and attended a celebration dinner with their friends and family.
