Whether it’s going to the gym, cooking dinner together, or streaming the latest movies and shows, Sashree and Conway “genuinely enjoy each other’s company.” They wanted an engagement session that would capture this.
When it came to selecting a location for their engagement session, Sashree and Conway fell in love with the “peaceful scenery” of Kraft Azalea Gardens in Winter Park, FL. The park’s towering cypress trees and beautiful lakeside monument made for the perfect backdrop to their two looks. They opted for a casual look to showcase their fun, laidback personality and a formal look to feature a couple of their wedding colors of rose pink and navy.

From Bride, Sashree:
What are your wedding details?
“We are getting married at Club Lake Plantation Wedding Venue in Apopka, FL. We are going for a “Romantic Southern Elegance” atmosphere that is warm and soft. Our wedding colors are rose pink, gold, champagne, and a hint of navy. One special detail I’m looking forward to seeing is our asymmetrical floral chandelier. The floral chandelier will be made of white and blush floral arrangements and placed in the middle of the pergola at the ceremony area. We will be exchanging our vows under this arrangement.”
What has been the most challenging part of planning your wedding?
“Honestly, for me personally the guest list has been the more challenging part of wedding planning! I come from a big family with lots of cousins. We were raised that family is everything! So with that being said, I have been struggling with fully completing my side of the guest list. What surprised us most was just how much time and work is put into planning a wedding. There are so many minor details that factor into one big day. From finding the perfect venue to what shade/texture linen Lamour napkins we prefer.”

What are you most looking forward to for your wedding?
Bride, Sashree:
“I am looking most forward to walking down the aisle and knowing I get to meet my very best friend at the end. I think it will be the longest and most important walk of my life.”
Groom, Conway:
“My overall reaction to watching my future wife walk down the aisle. I’m not sure how I’ll react when I actually see her. I’m very curious!”
