Most wedding venues and vendors are small businesses. Therefore they can make their own schedule and decide when they will book weddings. Some may decide that they will not work certain holidays or may charge more to do so. This means that having a wedding on a holiday could limit your wedding venue and vendor options or it could be more costly.
May have low attendance
Some holidays are full of traditions that your wedding guests won’t want to forego. This doesn’t just apply to the larger holidays, like a Thanksgiving or Christmas wedding.
