After spending hours chatting on their first date, Elizabeth and Chris knew they had found something special. The couple quickly moved into together, creating a sweet little family with their three pups. Flash forward to their wedding day, they created a beautiful boho garden wedding, inspired by gardens at the Biltmore Estate where Chris proposed.
While there were many special moments throughout their wedding day celebration, the couple agreed that their first look was at the top of their list. Bride, Elizabeth states, “We both describe the feeling of nervousness and excitement like were seeing each other for the first time. This was our special moment alone and we couldn’t stop staring at each other.”
Another special moment of the day was a Rolls Royce ride to the reception, which a friend had surprised them with. Before they left Leu Gardens to head to their reception at Maggianos Little Italy in Orlando, FL, the couple took portraits with their luxury ride. See the amazing shots and their whole wedding day below!
From Bride, Elizabeth:
How did you meet?
“Our story begins nearly seven years ago when we met on a dating app. From our first date at the Yard House, we felt an immediate connection. We talked for hours and I fed Chris coconut shrimp as we laughed about how easily tipsy she was! We both knew this was the beginning of something special. We moved in together quickly, grew to a family of five with the inclusion of our three adoring dogs, and the rest is history.”

From Bride, Elizabeth:
What is your proposal story?
“Chris proposed at the Biltmore Estate in Asheville, North Carolina. I knew something was off because she is never that quiet and seemed very nervous. We walked all around the gardens before deciding to go up a hill that led to a beautiful meadow of flowers. We were overlooking a stunning view of the Biltmore house and the Blue Ridge mountains. I stood there for a few minutes taking in the scenery, when I turned around Chris was on her knee holding a little wooden box with a ring! She asked me to marry her and I screamed with excitement! It was the happiest feeling and I couldn’t wait to marry her and begin a new chapter in our lives together!”
From Bride, Elizabeth:
Is there anything that you wish you would have done differently or had that you didn’t for your wedding?
“We would’ve hired a videographer or had someone record the ceremony.”
What advice would you give other couples about the wedding planning process?
“It is easy to become overwhelmed with the many details involved in the planning process. We were recommended to download the Knot app which helped immensely! Having all the vendors and our budget organized was very helpful for us. Focus on the things that make you as a couple happy and try to enjoy the process.”
Is there any advice that you would give engaged couples about married life?
“Remember to always listen to each other’s needs and keep your communication open. Don’t sweat the small stuff and never go to bed angry. Always date each other and take spontaneous trips.”
