Natural Florida Engagement Session at Kelly Park

While Halley and Eric had mutual friends for years, it wasn’t until they randomly bumped into each other that their love started to bloom. The couple love nature. So much so, that they have created a company called The Rose Trellis Boutique, in which they create resin art with the native flowers they cultivate in their yard.

When it came time to select their engagement session location, they wanted to incorporate their love of the outdoors and Florida native plants into their engagement session. Rock Springs at Kelly Park with its beautiful water and lush vegetation was the perfect spot and the photos were captured beautifully by Dreamscape Photography + Video!

From Bride, Halley:

How did you meet? What is your proposal story?

“Eric and I met when we were young and both had mutual friends but were only just friends for years. Until we both bumped into each other randomly. Both being happily single and so surprised to have seen each other again we decided to go to catch up and the rest is history. Eric proposed exactly 5 years later at the tower of Bok Tower where we had spent our first valentines together. It was a complete surprise though I should have known because he was so nervous!”

From Bride, Halley:

Tell us a little bit about you as a couple.

“We love to visit Playalinda Beach, the WMA areas locally, and Florida springs as often as we can. My favorite date night is anything dealing with sushi. If sushi is involved, I am very thankful! His favorite date night is probably around a fire someplace in the woods which I also think is a great way to spend any amount of time We chose our engagement session with the suggestion from Nicole and Mike of Dreamscape Photography + Video! It was an absolutely perfect idea in a place we already love going to!”

From Bride, Halley:

What has been the most challenging part of planning your wedding?

“The most challenging has been the seating chart! So many dynamics. But our planner Kayla with NSB Wedding Co. took care of EVERYTHING else. We really didn’t worry about much else.”

What are you most looking forward to for your wedding?

The food and dancing!

What are your wedding details? Venue, style, special details?

“Our wedding venue is The Delamater House. We wanted a spring and vibrant flower vibe with rustic touches. I preserve wedding bouquets full time so I wanted there to be as many flowers as humanly possible and our florist Susan with What Really Matters achieved this for us!”
