- More variety - while there are only so many places to rent your groom’s attire from, purchasing gets you a wider range of options. You can also mix and match pieces from different retailers or tailors to customize.
- Can wear again - if you frequently dress up, than purchasing your wedding day attire can be a great investment in the long run.
- Only one to wear it - since you are purchasing the suit/tux, you won’t have to worry about any minor wear on it.
- Altered to fit perfectly - a tailored suit will always fit better than a rented or off-the-rack one.
- Can add unique accessories - you can work with your tailor to add these or purchase them to complement the look
Cons for Purchasing Your Groom’s Attire:
- May be harder to match with groomsmen - if you give your groomsmen the option to purchase their attire in the color of the groom’s, you are more likely to find that a variety of hues in that color tone you requested. This is because different retailers use different dyes and colors.
