When Robert had to travel to Orlando for work, he figured it would be a great opportunity to bring Krystal along for a mini-vacation. As new parents, the trip together was definitely welcomed. Little did Krystal know that Robert had more planned for the trip. He reached out to Katie at The Revel Co. and Elle of Captured by Elle to plan and capture the perfect wedding proposal at the Hyatt Grand Cypress where they were staying.
With white flowers being Krystal’s favorite, The Revel Co. created a stunning white floral backdrop for the proposal. The couple also used the opportunity to take engagement photos around the beautifully landscaped grounds of the resort.

How did he propose?
“Robert was in Orlando for a conference & flew me out from Oklahoma to spend some time together on a parent vacation away from our 4 month old *cue tears. The whole time he was telling me we had a company dinner to attend on Wednesday, I packed a dress reluctantly because he insisted on me wearing one for dinner. “We have to be at cocktail hour by 4:15, no later,” he said! I thought this was a little odd, but thinking “ maybe he just wants to impress his boss and be on time.”
He ran to “meet” a vendor downstairs telling me to be ready by the time he got back (he was really going to meet the planner and photographer to make sure he knew where to take me.) We rushed downstairs for the dinner and he told me cocktail hour was outside. Luckily for him, the resort had tons of dinners going on for the conventions being held there so it was all believable! We walked around and as we were walking I looked to my right and saw all these white roses everywhere! I said, “ Babe, it looks like someone is getting married there.. how beautiful!”
He walked me over to the roses and handed me a ring pop (our inside joke) as soon as he did that I started shaking thinking .. no way is this happening! He then got on one knee and the rest was a blur. Of course, I said yes! He had been working with the best event planner and photographer all the way from OKLAHOMA for 7 months! I still look down at my hand and feel like it was all a dream!”

Tell us a little about you as a couple
“We are big foodies who love experiencing new places. We are new parents so our night outlook a little different these days. Rather than your typical night on the town, we now enjoy putting the baby to bed ordering in food or Rob cooks a meal and watching a movie together, topping it off with a nice dessert.”
