Summertime Wedding at Dragonfly Farms FL

This fun-loving couple wanted to bring in a light and airy summer feel for their beautiful wedding. The covered wedding ceremony at Dragonfly Farms FL in Palm Bay, Florida helped set this tone. For Carrigan and Trenton, celebrating their union with their family and friends who traveled from all over the United States was the best part of their wedding day.

Carrigan even paid tribute to her grandfather who had passed away from Alzheimer’s, whom she affectionately called Poppy. In his honor, she included a poppy embroidered handkerchief and photo around her bridal bouquet, along with bright red poppies among the lush greenery and white florals in the bouquet.

From the hexagon ceremony backdrop to the signature drinks, a slight bee theme could be found throughout the details of the wedding, paying a nod to the fact that the couple met on Bumble. Carrigan credits the success of their wedding day to an amazing vendor team, saying, “Our wedding was absolutely magical. Thanks to Dragonfly Farms FL and our amazing vendor team, our day went so smoothly! The only thing that we wish is to go back in time and relive that day again!”

From Bride, Carrigan:
How did you meet?

“We met on Bumble!! I was supposed to be gone on a solo trip to Ireland but when the world shut down that trip did not happen. Funny enough the week I was supposed to be in Ireland is the week that I met Trenton and went on our first date. I guess you can say it was meant to “bee”!”

From Bride, Carrigan:
How did he propose?

“Our proposal was super sweet and well planned by my husband. We were in Washington for the holidays to see his family. We went to his uncle’s house on Christmas Day to do their traditional piñata whack where everyone gets a turn. When my turn came up they kept telling me to hit it over and over again and all I thought was there were other people who need to still swing so why am I being told to hit it. As soon as it broke open and the candy spilled out I took off my blindfold and saw Trenton down on one knee proposing as it was snowing. It was the best Christmas gift I have ever gotten and definitely one I’ll never forget.”

From Bride, Carrigan:
What advice would you give couples about the wedding planning process?

“Have a great vendor team! This is really important to ensure a flawless day. Dragonfly Farms FL really made sure that we had all of the tools we needed in order to plan our special day.”

From Bride, Carrigan:
Is there any advice that you would give engaged couples about married life?

“Married life feels great when you are with the right person. Always lean on one another and have open communication!”
